People often spend their whole lives trying to be well liked and respected by others. It starts in about 3rd grade and never quite seems to stop. The question is why are some people popular and some are not? I think that it is certainly looks and personality, but is there something else going on? I would have to say yes.
I’ve been doing research lately on pheromones and how they affect human behavior. Particularly androstenone. Humans (and pigs) produce this substance and it seems to make people perceive you as more attractive. Now from what I have read about pheromones they don’t seem like they work miracles, but just give you that extra boost.
One of the stories I came across on a forum detailed how a guy used and androstenone based product and then went to a club. Men were more respectful of him and women showed much greater interest. But that is only half the story… Apparently, if you use too much of this type of product it can actually have the opposite effect of what you had intended – YIKES! It seems that you get something called an “overdose”.
When this happens women act afraid of you and men want to start fights. Holy Cow! It seems that the key is to go light on the pheromones and work your way up gradually to avoid these affects. That is definately something I need to keep in mind as I think I am going to order these.
So what do you think? Can pheromones help to give you the “it” factor. You know the thing that makes you popular? I think after the research I’ve done that they are not the only thing, but that they are a big part of it. I guess I’ll wait and see.
